Hi,

draft-rekhter-geo-distribution-control-00 was presented in the 83rd IETF meeting in Paris. It is about signaling multicast reachability information from network provider routers to content provider servers, and signaling multicast content's geo-restriction information from content servers to provider routers.

Based on the feedback, it's been broken into three drafts:

draft-rekhter-geo-distribution-control - General problem and high level solution description
draft-rekhter-mdcs - Multicast Distribution Control Signaling
draft-rekhter-mdrs - Multicast Distribution Reachability Signaling

The URLs are:

http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-rekhter-geo-distribution-control-03
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-rekhter-mdcs-00
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-rekhter-mdrs-00

Adoption for the last two has been requested in IDR WG for protocol extensions. For draft-rekhter-geo-distribution-control, we're seeking Mboned WG adoption.

Before requesting a formal adoption call, we can do another presentation for the updated -03 revision in the coming Vancouver meeting if necessary.

In the meantime, please review and comment on the proposed model of content delivery via multicast, with capability to signal multicast reachability and geo-restriction information.

Thanks.
