Hi Joel,

I have been on some trips without email, so sorry for sending my answer so late.

| | One last quick question, what is the relation between the | midcomSessionTable and the midcomGroupTable? In my understanding, when a | midcomSession is created, a midcomGroupTable entry can be associated in | order to associate midcomRuleTable entry together (i.e. group | midcomRuleTable entry).

Entries in midcomGroupTable is associated with entries in midcomRuleTable.
There is actually not a direct link between creating a session and resulting
group. Of course, groups are generated out of a session.

I'd like to clarify this a bit more. Entries in the group table are generated and removed automatically.

As soon as an entry in the rule table is established that belongs to
a so far not existing group, a corresponding entry in the group table
is also established automatically for the new group.

Entries in the group table just serve as shortcut for accessing all
member rules in the rule table with a single operation. Reading the
group lifetime is a shortcut for reading all rule lifetimes and taking
the maximum. Setting the rule lifetime is a shortcut to setting all
member rule lifetimes simultaneously.

A group is removed automatically as soon as the last member rule
is removed from the rule table
