Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications
(WPMC'05)

 Sept 18-22, 2005 - Aalborg, Denmark
 
Share your achievements within wireless with the rest of the world:

Submit a paper
  a tutorial, and/or a panel proposal


Deadline for abstract submission:  April 15 , 2005

Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC) this year  is  a part of the First International Wireless Summit (IWS)

1000 participants are expected . Up to 8 parellel sessions including panel and invited paper sessions, selected tutorials and industrial exhibition. 
 
Call for Papers - Deadline extended!

The Organizing Committee for WPMC'05 invites you to submit extended abstracts on the following topics (but not limited to) by electronic submission in PDF format.

  • Track I: Antenna and Propagation
  • Track II: Transmission Technology
  • Track III: Digital Signal Processing
  • Track IV: Wireless Access
  • Track V: Multimedia, Networks and Systems
  • Track VI: Wireless Security
  • Track VII: Wireless Sensors and Data Fusion
  • Track VIII: Modeling and Simulation
  • Track IX: Satellite and Navigation
  • Track X: Other topics

Description of tracks.

Introduction of abstract submission.

Award papers:
Six papers will be selected for the "Best Paper Award" among the contributed papers and there will also be the "Best Student Award".

Wireless Personal Communication:
An International Journal
Twenty papers including the Award Papers will be selected for publication in a special issue: "Latest Trends in Wireless Communication".

Special Sessions:
Special Sessions on "Hot Topics" will be organized. Especially, there will be special sessions on Wireless Security and Sensors.

Panel Sessions & Tutorials:
Interested persons are invited to submit proposals for panel sessions and/or halfday/fullday tutorials to the IWS Secretariat no later than March 31, 2005.

Proposals for tutorials and panel sessions with the following documents should be send to the organisers at email: organisers at iws2005.org :

1. For Tutorials:
   a. Short CV of the speaker
   b. Title and abstract of the tutorial
   c. Halfday or fullday tutorial
 
2. For Panels:
   a.  Short CV of the panel organizer
   b. Short CVs of the speakers
   c. Title and abstract of the panel
   d. Title and abstract from the speakers

Deadline:
Extended abstracts (up to 1500 words): (Extended deadline )   April 15, 2005

Notification of acceptance: May 15, 2005

Full paper submission: June 20, 2005
