Hi Christer,

I read the latest -02 draft.

My main comment is on the example in Appendix A.  In normal use of T.38 UDPTL with SIP, the sessions all tend to begin with a Voice over IP SIP session, then a re-invite is used to initiate the UDPTL fax session.  In the early days of T.38, the main use case was the VoIP / FoIP gateway, so there was always a voice session first.   We're starting to see some IAF use of T.38 now, but the implementations tend to abide by the convention of starting with VoIP first, then switching to fax.

I don't think we need to modify the example in the draft, but just have a sentence or two, or a note, saying that the example shows how the secure UDPTL session will work once the need for an IP fax session has been established.
