FWIW, I agree with Mark.  Writing something up just because it sounds
like a good idea is fine, as far as it goes, but we should not
underestimate the real cost of putting something into the standards
track.  If we all say, "Yeah, that's cool," but then no one implements
it in real products[1], we've wasted a lot.
