      ITU-T SG15 Question 14
      ITU-T SG15

For action by : G.7712 Editor
                 ITU-T SG15Q14 Rapporteur
                 ITU-T SG15

Dear Sirs

It has been drawn to our attention that the document
G.7712 which is currently in AAP contains identical
text to that which was the subject of a recent liaison
to the ITU-T concerning Y.1720.

This liaison entitled "Consented text for revision of
Y.1720"

can be found at

https://datatracker.ietf.org/documents/LIAISON/file439.doc

This liaison was previously considered by ITU-T SG15 Q9
and their response can be found at:

https://datatracker.ietf.org/liaison/427/

We thank SG15Q9 for considering the matter and making
suitable changes to Y.1720.

We request that the editor of G.7712 address the relevant
text in the proposed G.7712 Recommendation and any
resulting consequences in G.7712.

As the IETF is unfamiliar with ITU-T Recommendations,
please can we request that SG15 consider this liaison as
a request to address similar text in any other
ITU-T SG15 documents that have been published or are
in the process of publication.

Regards

Stewart Bryant
IETF Liaison to the ITU on MPLS
PWE3 WG Co-Chair
