  Do what people do today: deny network access, OR put them into a
quarantine network.  They may have limited access to the Internet, but
may be denied access to the corporate network.

  But that's assuming "unmanaged" means "non-NEA aware desktop".  I
don't envision switches implementing NEA any time soon, so they may be
labelled "unmanaged", too.

  Again, this is where requirements and architecture come in.  The whole
PA/PB/etc. thing is nice, but ultimately it comes down to a cable being
plugged into a network device.  Keeping the conversation related to
physical devices means that it's easier to stay focussed.
