Re: [NSIS] New Name Proposal for NSIS/GIMPS
Hi Cyrus and Interim participants,
SHINGOU... Sounds so strange!! (at least for Japanese 8-))
This name may cause serious problem or confusion as Japanese people tend
to translate technical terms into Japanese. The word "SINGOU" covers any
kinds of signals or signaling messages.
At least, I cannot agree using unicode or ASCII art for showing "SINGOU".
Alternative (my personal) ideas are:
- Making small change for the word "SINGOU". such as "SINGOP"
(Singo-protocol?!)
- Using some other language used in the people who do not translate
technical terms into their language, such as Greek, Arabic(?!) etc
(In Greek, signal is "Sima").
How do you think?
