RFC 3630: TE Extension : Reserv/Un vs Query

Group,

I was thinking about doing some TE work, but
need to clarify a couple of items on this RFC.

All of the issues deal with the reservation and
canceling of reserved bandwidth and have unstated
      results wrt this RFC.

      wrt to 2.5.8 unreserved bandwidth
      1) Is there a way to just query the amount of
unreserved bandwidth at a priority level
         without doing the reservation?

      2) How do you unreserve the bandwidth that
         you have reserved?

      3) Will/should a reservation of a max value
reserve all available bandwidth at a specific
         priority level?

      4) What is the duration of the reserved bandwidth
if no followup reservation is done?

      5) What happens if a value of a attempted reserved
bandwidth is greater than the amount available
for reservation? How do you ack a failed attempt?

      6) extension of #4. If the link goes down then up
are/should previous bandwidth reservations be intact?

      7) Can unreserved bandidths be tracked to "guarantee"
that a % greater than x can not be reserved from
         a single reservation location/address?

      8) If a full reservation is made at a given priority,
can we assume that no lower prioity bandwidth
reservations are available? Basicly can/should you
reserve bandwidth at random priority levels?

     Thanks,
