RE: [pim] Unicast BSMs and forwarding
Stig,
I had our test engineers verify this again.
Alcatel Routers support unicast BSMs. We do not see unicast BSMs get
dropped on our box and we do not expect them to get dropped on our
router.
We also forward unicast BSMs. We do not see them get dropped downstream
either due to RPF checks. We certainly have never seen a BSM storm in
the last couple of years of having this.
