NH=>This may be a reasonable assumption in some cases and a
restrictive/unreasonable assumption in others. However, what we need are
general solutions for all cases. And this is why I keep banging on about
the need for layer independence when we view these requirements. If one
adopts the right model from the outset one can cater for all cases....and
that's what I am shooting for.
