It may be that some carriers have expressed requirements for SPVC interworking 
to be addressed (but why aren't they making their opinion known on this 
list?). I would guess that these carriers have not specifically asked for 
SPVC interworking to be developed in the IETF PWE3 WG. I have heard several 
carriers express the opposite - that they prefer the standards not to be 
developed in the IETF.

It is perhaps a reflection of these carriers' sentiments that we are not 
hearing their voices on the PWE3 list?
