I have a question regarding backwards compatibility.

The original VCCV drafts (versions 0-10) specified that raw BFD
is indicated by channel type zero in the CW.

Then in draft-ietf-pwe3-vccv-11 this was changed to 0x7,
and this is quoted in draft-ietf-pwe3-vccv-bfd.

Since there are existing implementations using channel type 0, 
what does a newer implementation do when it receives a channel 0 packet ?
