RE: [PWE3] Re: I-D ACTION:draft-vainshtein-cesopsn-06.txt
Alik took the words out of my mouth!
Yes we do have a CESoPSN implementation that we demonstrated at Supercomm
this year, running across the MEF core network. This implementation is
completely separate to any of the implementations mentioned so far in this
thread. So there are many separate implementations of this standard. We
have not run interoperability trials yet, but these are being planned to
happen soon.
Just for the record, I support this draft going through as a WG standard.
As I understand it , independent co-authors should be counted separately.

Tim

Yaakov,
just for being accurate you should not forget that draft-vainshtein has
the
following co-authors:
Tim Frost (Zarlink) - the company provides CESoPSN chip demonstrated at
the
last Supercomm,
Prayson Pate (Overture) - the company has working system (also
demonstrated
at the last Supercomm),
Edward Metz (Thrupoint)
With best regards
Alik

Sasha quotes 4 interoperable implementations,
RAD, Redux, Ericsson, and Engage.
As I have said in previous emails RAD does NOT
support CESoPSN in our standard product line.
This "interop" was a one-time effort to supply small
remote boxes to interoperate with CESoPSN central site
for a given sales opportunity.
