All the while, their end-end naming function would remain unchanged, which is why I think of them as *principally* end-end names.
That's valid from a 10,000 meter Internet architect viewpoint. I suspect that from the viewpoint of a repair technician at or slightly below ground level, they would remain *principally* IP addresses, as today. That's actually the beauty of LISP.
