I'm afraid chefren continues to miss the point. If the police want to 
surveil you in spite of the fact that you are doing nothing that they know 
to be in violation of the law (and using strong crypto is a completely 
legal act), then how does making wiretapping easier reduce law 
enforcement's lust for surveilling people who are not suspected of 
violating the law?
