Yes, of course. But how to do the adjustment ! We used to joke: Koflach, the ski boot being that hard, that every foot will adjust to it. I think the other way around would be more convenient.
 
Why not design the routing architecture such that you don't need a home agent or care-of-address server !
And, in particular situations, that you might find your destination although you have only a vague idea about its current location ?!!!
