Hi Christian
The reason of Duplicate Link Local Addresses is
different hosts having
same MAC addresses use same algorithm to create
LLAs.
In broadband network, hosts(CPE) with duplicate
MACs are allowed.
There are two ways to fix it
1)Change CPE algorithm to lower possibility of
duplicate address
to a tolerable degree. IPv6
use DAD to avoid the duplicate LLA.
2)Hosts are layer 2 seperated. LLA can only
be used with a link.
Different links can have the same
LLA.
