If you're talking about Presence, maybe.  In the general case, NO.   
It is common for languages to have validity requirements that cannot  
be expressed in a schema.  A trivial example: an IP address might  
appear as an element in a document, and the governing specification  
might state that the server at that address SHOULD be responsive to  
messages of type X on port Y.  Go schema that.  -Tim
