[Sip] Question on 3841: extracting implicit preferences
Hi,
The text in chapter 7.2.2 of 3841 says:
"If, and only if, the proxy did not find any explicit preferences in
the request (because there was no Accept-Contact or Reject-Contact
header field), the proxy extracts implicit preferences."
Is this really true? My understanding is that e.g. the method preference is always implcitly set, even if there are A-C/R-C header field(s) in the request.
Shouldn't the text say that if a specific preference wasn't explicitly set, it will be implicity set?
Regards,
Christer
