True, However, the approach you took at that time wasn't clearly coordinated as a handoff of responsibility from the SIP working group. That's what I propose to try now.
We should also consider that much of the proposed work of RUCUS (Reducing Unwanted Communications Using SIP), aka anti-SPIT, depend on strong identity.
