[Sip] SIP Trunk implementation in a PBX

Hi all ,

  Is there any specification or RFC detailing the implementations for
SIP trunking. Can anyone provide details on how to implement SIP
trunking functionality to an existing IP-PBX ? Any inputs will be highly
useful.
