Re: [Sip] SIP Trunk implementation in a PBX
Hi all,
Thank you Vijay, Dan, Rockson for your valuable suggestions and guiding
me in looking at the proper places. I would refer them and get back in
case of any queries.
Regards,
anisha

Anisha: There isn't an RFC or I-D that details specific implementation
aspects on SIP trunking that I am aware of.
That said, there is some work on this topic in the SIP Forum in the form
of IP peering arrangements between SIP-enabled IP PBXes and SIP-enabled
service providers. The SIPConnect specification is probably the closest
to what you are looking for (see
http://www.sipforum.org/component/option,com_docman/task,doc_download/gi
d,134/Itemid,75/)
You may also want to glance at the speermint (see
http://www.ietf.org/html.charters/speermint-charter.html), and to a
lesser extent the newly formed drinks WG (see
http://www.ietf.org/html.charters/drinks-charter.html)
for information tangentially related to your topic.
Hope that helps.
