no, i'm just comparing the number of messages that each cause some
delay. 

in case of a presence based solution, caller needs to publish its
dialog, not just send an invite, which means more messages.

when presence server receives subscribe from callee, it needs to make
xcap query, before it can reply, which in again means more delay.
