there has not been uniform consensus on many things (especially 3gpp
rubber stamping) that this working group has decided to do.  in my
opinion there has been enough interest expressed on this mailing list to
go forward with DERIVE.  those who don't need it or are not planning to
use it, can do something else.  they should not try to prevent other
people working on DERIVE.
