I was going to suggest exactly this, I just hadn't worked out the
process for doing it yet :)

I think it would be a great, great idea and would love to see more
focus on operations in the same was an dns, ipv6 etc does, or even
something less formal like the IEPG on sunday morning?

recent statistics show SIP has a huge penetration on the *public*
internet - way more than i think any of us did.
