[Syslog] No discussion of IPR claims on this list

Hi Folks,

Catching up after some travelling.

There was a posting to the list earlier this week about a patent 
application related to syslog.  We've gone through this before and I will 
reiterate that this WG will follow current IETF practices.  The IETF (and 
this WG) takes no position regarding the validity or scope of any 
Intellectual Property Rights or other rights that might be claimed to 
pertain to the implementation or use of the technology being discussed in 
this WG.  Further thoughts may be found in RFC 3669.
