Hi

I am writing up a paper that is fairly TCP-ish. I have a problem regarding the definition of the part of TCP that does the job to keep control over the packet transmission i.e the "simple" part that transmits segments whenever the bytes in flight is less than the congestion window. I call this part flow control but this is perhaps wrong ?. What is then the correct term, "rate control" or "rate limiting" or ?

/Ingemar
