Re: WG Interim Meeting Opportunity in January 2009

We can't have a generic opinion about this. The question is if a 
specific meeting is warranted, by:

- amount of work already going on in the list and drafts
- importance of the effort for the community behind it
- need for f2f time to resolve tough issues

For instance, I still believe that a BEHAVE+SOFTWIRE interim is 
justified based on these grounds. I understand that the various WGs who 
are planning an interim are asking their meeting participants about how 
many would show up. Lets take the results of that and make a decision. 
From what I understand, the numbers are fairly small on the on-site 
side, and very large on the remote participation side. But lets wait 
until the polls are complete.

I'll also note that we don't have full visibility even with this poll. 
In the Montreal interim we had 15 people signed up three weeks before 
the meeting, and eventually 60 + 30 showed up.
