Connecting to the Mbone

Traditionally, two IETF sessions are transmitted simultaneously over the MBONE from the meeting site.

Note that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) must support IP Multicast for you to be able to connect. The first thing to do is to ask your ISP if they are connected or will connect to the MBone. You can see a list of ISPs supporting IP Multicast here.

    Note: IETF Mbone sessions are recorded to disk and available for downloading (you must have multicast tools in order to see and hear the recordings. These recordings are maintained at The University of Oregon Videolab.
