Meetings follow 1 of 3 models (in order of preference)
1. American: all meeting space and lodging in the same hotel
2. Hybrid: all meeting space and at least 300 rooms in the same hotel with 4-5 overflow hotels
3. European: meetings held at a convention/congress center with separate lodging hotels

39,500 square feet/ 3,665 square meters usable meeting space required

NOTE: Plenary room can be repurposed as breakouts if necessary.

Additionally, pre-function space is required for Welcome Reception, and daily AM and PM breaks for 1,200pp

Lodging:
5,680 room nights (750 - 1,000 peak)
In-room Internet MUST be incorporated into the lodging rate if not complimentary.

Saturday - 450 rooms
Sunday - 920 rooms
Monday - 1,000 rooms
Tuesday - 1,000 rooms
Wednesday - 975 rooms
Thursday - 880 rooms
Friday - 270 rooms
Saturday - 70 rooms


Technology Requirements: 
 - Outside connection needs to be 45 Mb bandwidth in both directions and should have at least 100 Mb bi-directionally.  
 - IPv6 must be provided and can be done via a tunnel.  
 - Primary link must support BGP peering.
 - IETF installs a full Network/Wireless Connectivity for all participants for duration of meeting. 
 - In most instances, they may shut down venue’s network and restore following end of meeting
 - Access to entire hotel network infrastructure is necessary (roof, telecom and electrical rooms)
