METHOD OF RESERVATION: Reservation for the Event will be made by individual attendees
directly with the Hotel by calling or writing the hotel room reservation department or by calling the toll-free number 1-800-HILTONS. Attendees will ask for either the IETF or Internet Engineering Task Force. Reservations can also be made on line at the Hotel's website at www.sanfrancisco.hilton.com. Once on the site, select "Book a Room" and fill in the your reservations information. You will need to use the Group/Convention Code of "IET" to receive the room rate that has been negotiated for the IETF meeting.
ROOM ASSIGNMENT: In order to confirm a room assignment for attendees, the Hotel will require to provide a first night's deposit, refundable up to 72 hours in advance of the meeting date. Checks and major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All individuals will be responsible for their own room, tax and incidental charges upon check-out.
CHANGES IN ROOM RESERVATION: Arrival/departure changes may be made up to arrival, based on availability. Name changes may be made up to day of arrival.
DIRECTIONS & TRANSPORTATION: From SFO Airport, take Highway 101 north and exit at 7th street. Turn right on Folsum street, then left on 5th street. METHOD OF RESERVATION: Attendees should make reservations for the event directly
with Renaissance Reservation at 1-800-697-3103 between 6:00-23:00 Pacific Standard Time.
Attendees should request the 56th IETF Meeting in order to receive the Group Rate.
The following information should be provided for reservation: (1) Arrival and departure dates; (2) Estimated time of arrival; (3) Room preference (single or double/double, smoking or non-smoking); (4) Credit card information, including expiration date, for reservation guarantee.
