Measurements - conclusions
SCTP can be used in existing TCP networks.
The simple TCP traffic generator ttcp was very useful and easy to modify. The source code is available and compiles under almost all UNIX-like systems.
The results shown here are based on a paper of Andreas Jungmaier (University of Essen), Michael Schopp (Siemens) and Michael Tüxen (Siemens) and have been presented at an IEEE conference in Heidelberg. These kind of measurements are well suited for testing the congestion control at the next SCTP bakeoff.
