MAC Layer Group

• Subdivided into Capabilities group and Statistics group

• The Capabilities group contains read-only objects which describe the MAC capabilities supported by the modem

• The Statistics group contains read-only objects for error statistics reported by the modem in response to a MAC STATUS REQUEST message. These are reset when the MAC STATUS RESPONSE message is sent by the modem
