History

• PacketCable is a CableLabs project that defines a suite of specifications to deliver Multimedia service over the Cable infrastructure utilizing DOCSISTM 1.1

• Part of the Provisioning activities was to define a set of four MIBs in a private CableLabs’ (4192) MIB branch

• Due to internationalization efforts (ETSI’s IPCableCom) activities, additional international requirements are being introduced into these MIBs
