Codec-aware fragmentation

• Fragment boundaries chosen by “app. layer”

  • May allow a partial “App. Unit” to be decoded

• OFFSET field gives placement of fragment

• FRAG field gives fragment sequence number

  • Separates fragments of different “App. Units.”
