GMPLS TE-Routing Extensions… Overview
To cover SDH/Sonet, G.709 OTN or any other switching technology GMPLS-TE defines technology dependent TE attributes
Increasing scalability using Link bundling, Forwarding Adjcencies and unnumbered interfaces
TE-Routing attributes considered for both IS-IS and OSPF:
OSPF: Link State Advertisements (LSAs) grouped in Packet Data Units (PDUs) and defined sub-TLV of TE Link TLV (opaque LSA Type 10)
IS-IS: Link State PDUs (LSPs) grouped in Sub-TLV of Extended IS Reachability TLV (TLV 22)
