Description of Working Group:
The Internet-Draft Multicast Remnants (idmr) working group is chartered to finish certain parts of the work started in the Inter-Domain multicast Routing (idmr) working group. The group is expected to live only long enough to see the existing work items into the standards track, and will not take on new work items.

Some of the work previously done in IDMR has moved to the MAGMA working group.

The specific work items are:

DVMRP, DVMRP MIB, IGMPv3, Multicast Router Discovery.

Goals and Milestones:
Nov 99   All specs to at least Proposed Standard. MIBs may lag.
Mar 00   All MIBs to at least Proposed.
Jul 00   Address any spec issues; all documents to Draft if no major problems
Nov 00   All documents to Standard if no major problems. Disband WG.
Aug 01   Respond to any IESG input on DVMRP, IGMPv3, Multicast Router Discovery
Aug 01   Submit DVMRP MIB for last call for Proposed Standard
Sep 01   Respond to any IESG input on DVMRP MIB
Sep 01   Disband Working Group.
