17:50 - 18:00  CJK Local Mapping in IDNA2008 - Yoshiro YONEYA

Title : CJK local mapping in IDNA2008

Author(s) : Y. Yoneya, Y. Suh, E. Chen, X. Lee

Development of IDNA2008 is now in final stage.  It will cause

incompatibilities for Chinese, Japanese and Korean (CJK) scripts and

languages.  To avoid incompatibilities with IDNA2008 and current IDNA

(IDNA2003), definition of specific local mapping (pre process of IDNA

to be performed to IDN candidate string) for CJK is recommended.

18:00 - 19:40 -Review of Status of Work (see circulated document on list) - CERF

The intention here is to evaluate the present documents in relation

to the goals of the WG. This is NOT a session for proposing major

changes to the documents, new designs for DSN, extensions of the

xn-- prefix, or other measures. It is intended to be a time when the

discussion focuses on the present suite of documents and the

implications of adopting them as the next version of IDNA.

The desired outcome is a list of generally agreed (I hope) observations

about the implications using the present specifications in the live

Internet, taking into account current practices, potential incompatibilities

and so on.

We will take a break at 18:40-18:50
