1. Add Separate DSCP Counters

• Pros

  • Easier access on commonly used counters

• Cons

  • There may not be much savings in setup because the classifier setup would have been there anyway.
  • The management station normally requires to keep states as it walks the MIB gathering information. MIB-06 is not that much different.

• Propose Resolution

  • Do not add new DSCP Counter Table
  • Add Counter to ClfrElementTable entry.
