1.2 IETF Progress Report
The IESG and IETF have been quite active since the August IETF Meeting in London: 39 Protocol Actions approved, 54 Last Calls issued, 1274 Internet-Drafts announced, and 60 RFCs published.
Between the IETF meetings in London and Salt Lake City, five working groups were created:
1. Prefix Taxonomy Ongoing Measurement & Inter Network (ptomaine)
2. IP Flow Information Export (ipfix)
3. Protocol for carrying Authentication for Network A (pana)
4. Next Steps in Signaling (nsis)
5. Session Initiation Proposal Investigation (sipping)
and one working group concluded:
1. Process for Organization of Internet Standards Ongoing (poisson)
