Proposal for modeling banded amplifier (Grover)

• Sub-band modeling of the amplifiers in DWDM

  • Bands of wavelengths (e.g., C and L bands) multiplexed and amplified separately before finally being multiplexed and transported over an OTN
  • Propose the following changes
    • Introduce a new ifType enumeration (e.g., opticalChannelGroup)
    • define additional group of tables to handle config and performance information for the OChGroup
    • update the Conformance statements
  • Revised MIB submitted (Rishi Grover – 7/3)
  • Note Mike’s 7/8 feedback on the Revised MIB regarding OChGroup CurrentStatus, ifPhysAddress, ifOperStatus, & PM parameters
