LTANS WG meeting 3/12/2008 - 71st IETF - Philadelphia ~15 people attended the meeting in person A. Meeting Administrativia - 5 minutes B. Milestone Review - 5 minutes The current document suite was reviewed. ERS/SCVP has been submitted for IESG review. It is currently with the Area Director (Tim). DSSC should be ready for last call. XMLERS should begin last call soon. LTAP will return to standards track with its next version. Tobias will prepare a new version of Validate in early Summer. C. XMLERS review - omitted Attendees were asked to submit XMLERS examples to the mailing list to spur interoperability tests amongst implementors. D. LTAP update - omitted E. DSSC update - 5 minutes A short slide deck detailing changes to DSSC in the most recent version was reviewed. Jim Schaad pointed out that an issue raised in Vancouver had not yet been addressed. Essentially, the question is why aren't parameters associated with a validity period, with a list of parameters appearing under an OID? This would avoid searching the list for RSA, for example, finding multiple entries and having to dig through the parameters until finding an appropriate entry. This issue will be posted back to the mailing list and last call for this document delayed until the issue is addressed. H. Future/Milestone recap/Wrap-up - 2 minutes (chairs) Anticipate ERS/SCVP continuing with IESG review. A new version of DSSC should be released to address open issue. WG last call will follow. New versions of LTAP and XMLERS are expected, with WG last call proceeding shortly after their release. Next version of Validate will be the last (and probably final) product of the working group and is planned for submission this summer.
