NFSv4.1 and objects/blocks drafts are in line for dec 4th telechat
1831 is dec 11th; the netid I-D is outstanding

pnfs block draft has updates (genart review); respin based on security
text updates

David Black is the genart reviewer for NFSv4.1 and transport

ldap issues around consistent update of the root namespace
authorization issues for file server queries in the "group domain"

drive ldap requirements from the review fo the fedfs requirements
document (ask for WG review); ldap bof will likely occur at san
francisco meeting

Labeled NFS (Quigley) (30 minutes)

David mentioned that a bar bof was held earlier this week that
discussed the label semantics issue and everyone agreed that they
wanted something different (MLS,  RBAC, ...)

RPCSEC_GSS extension to deal with requirements of labeling; Nico has
signed up for writing the draft (will need to push for this)

MAC discussion (mandatory access control) operating systems

Lief comments that the discussion of naming extensions may end up in
the RPCSEC_GSS functionality as well.  (attribute push is the name he
is using)

David Black is concerned that the scatter algorithms should be small
and defined up-front since there would be "one chance" to get it into
implementations.
