• Each Active Sub-MARS has pool of Backup Sub-MARSs slaved off it, or
• Each Active Sub-MARS can act as Backup for other Active Sub-MARS
  • This can lead to a collapse of the cluster partition
  • Ability to dynamically re-partition is required
