Welcome to IETF 101!

1. Breakfast

Below is the schedule for breakfast during the IETF meeting week for Hilton guests. Please note that you are able to use the Fiamma restaurant for breakfast on any morning, however you may have to wait for a table.

- Sunday, March 18 - Breakfast served in Fiamma restaurant from 06:30 -10:00

- Monday, March 19 - Breakfast served in Sovereign from 07:00-09:30

- Tuesday, March 20 - Breakfast served in Sovereign from 07:00-09:30

- Wednesday, March 21 - Breakfast served in Sovereign from 07:00-09:30

- Thursday, March 22 - Breakfast served in Sovereign from 07:00-09:30

- Friday, March 23 - Breakfast served in Sovereign from 07:00-09:30

If you wish to eat breakfast from 06:30-07:00 or from 09:30-10:00, please use the Fiamma restaurant.


2. Fiamma Lunch Buffet

The hotel will be offering the following at the Fiamma restaurant for £17,50 per person.

  1. Soup or assorted salad bowl
  2. Hot buffet item (fish/vegetarian/meat)
  3. Fruit salad and dessert choice
  4. Coffee or tea
  5. Soft drink

3. IETF Registration Hours

Hackathon registration will open at 08:30am in front of the Sovereign room on Saturday, March 16. 

IETF meeting registration schedule is below.

Sunday: 10:00-19:00

Monday: 08:30-18:00

Tuesday: 08:30-18:00

Wednesday: 08:30-17:00

Thursday: 08:30-18:00

Friday: 08:30-12:00

4. Cloak Room

There will be a cloak room/coat check adjacent to the IETF registration desk.

5. Network

The IETF Network is live and available throughout the Hilton Metropole. In the public and guest room areas, you are welcome to use the “ietf-hotel” SSID. In the meeting areas, the “ietf” SSID is recommended. When joining any of the secure IETF networks (like “ietf”) use “ietf” as the username and “ietf” as the password.
