    Minutes

    1. Approval of the minutes of the September 20 Teleconference was
    deferred to provide more time to review, and to mark which items
    are for "memory" and should not be included in the official
    minutes.

    2. The IESG approved publication of Definitions of Managed Objects for
    Circuit to Interface Translation <draft-ietf-frnetmib-frsi-04.txt>
    as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.

    3. The IESG did not approve publication of the following three
    Internet-Drafts as Standard:

    o Version 2 of the Protocol Operations for the Simple Network
    Management Protocol <draft-ietf-snmpv3-update-proto-06.txt>
    o Transport Mappings for the Simple Network Management Protocol
    <draft-ietf-snmpv3-update-transmap-06.txt>
    o Management Information Base for the Simple Network Management
    Protocol <draft-ietf-snmpv3-update-mib-06.txt>

    as an update is needed to add a reference to RFC2914 plus some IPv6
    language. Bert to discuss this with authors and WGchairs.

    4. The IESG approved adding the proposed task and related milestone
    for the MIDCOM WG. Steve to update database.

    5. The IESG indicated support for the recharter of IDR. Abha to send
    proposed charter to WG for comments. If ok, will Abha will inform
    Steve who will update the database record.

    6. The IESG approved publication of Terminology for Policy-Based
    Management <draft-ietf-policy-terminology-04.txt> as an
    Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement.

    7. Action on Zeroconf IP Host Requirements
    <draft-ietf-zeroconf-reqts-09.txt> was deferred pending a Security
    review. Marcus to identify guru to review and provide on-going
    assistance

    8. The IESG had no problem with the publication of PGM Reliable
    Transport Protocol <draft-speakman-pgm-spec-07.txt> as an
    Experimental Protocol. Steve to information the RFC Editor.

    9. Steve to begin including implementation reports (if they exist)
    with the telechat package.

    10. Thomas commented on his desire to reorganize the Implemmentation
    Report web page. Steve, who has long wished to do this, was quick
    to accept the offer.

    11. There was some discussion on the idea of WG chair training on
    Security topics. Marcus to discuss with Jeff and report back to the
    IESG.

    12. The IESG decided to hold another pre-meeting on Sunday morning,
    December 9, beginning at 10am.
