Great!  Thanks, Yueli.  As it happens, I have just located= a machine I can configure for FreeBSD debugging.  I may have time to = do that tomorrow morning, confirm your fixes, and post them as a feature branch for the ION 3.2.2 release, targeted for the = end of September; with any luck, we won't have to go through this again.

Hi, Yueli.  I=92m= really sorry, we never had a lot of takers for the FreeBSD port of ION so = we got out of the habit of regression-testing it on every release; by now t= he low-level Makefiles are all way out of date, and at the moment we=92ve got no FreeBSD machine to debug on.

I unfortunately am goi= ng to be away from my development machines for almost three weeks starting = tomorrow, so I can=92t be much help until mid-August.  In the meantime= , if anybody else can help Yueli with updating the FreeBSD port, please feel free =96 and , if possible, please keep trac= k of the changes you made so we can fold them back into the next release.

Hi, I am having trouble to compile ion-3.2.1 on Free= BSD 10.

After fixing a few errors of =93unsigned enum/int &l= t;0 is always false=94 and =93use of undeclared identifier O_LARGEFILE=94,&= nbsp; make command still fails with:

Make[2]: don=92t know how to make ./ici/doc/ionad= min.1. Stop

Make[2]: stopped in /root/ion-open-source

*** Error code 1

Running make in ./ici/doc/ failed with:

Make: exec(./man/man1/ionadmin.1) failed (No such= file or directory)

*** Error code 1

I revised the ./ici/doc/Makefile to generate =93 ./h= tml/man*/*html=94 and =93./man/man*/*.x=94 files, make still failed with

Cannot find =93lyst_insert=94 in podpath: cannot = find suitable replacement path, cannot resolve link

Make: exec(./man/man1/ionadmin.1) failed (Permiss= ion denied)

*** Error code 1

Any help or tip on compile/build/install ion-3.2.1 o= n FreeBSD 10.0 will be greatly appreciated.

Yueli Ya= ng
