Retired old tools: - Replaced Mailing List Request Tool and Non-WG Mailing List Submission Tool (2,000+ lines of rarely used code) with instructions pages ("send these details to some AD, and ask him/her to forward the approved request to ietf-action"). - Completed Django replacements for generating all_id.txt, 1id-index.txt, and 1id-abstracs.txt (based on code sprint work by Robert and Jelte). These were deployed just before IETF76, and the old Perl scripts were retired. - Removed bunch of random Perl scripts: message-list (NomCom announcements), email-list (List of WG mailing lists), iesg-doc-status (Status of documents currently in IESG). Minor improvements: - Worked with Glen to improve mailing list archive usability: they now show 500 messages per page (instead of 25), which makes the browser's "Find" (inside a page) function much more useful. - The public version of the IESG telechat agenda now includes the "list of remaining action items" (Section 1.4), and proposed charters (Sections 4.*). - Did some clean-up for the Trac ticket system, so we can use it again for keeping track of bugs and requested enhancements What I plan to do in the next 2 months or so: - Get authentication/authorization working according to the revised plans. Authentication part is quite simple with Django 1.1. Authorization (who is in IESG/who is chairing what WG/etc.) needs some work. =20 - Implement missing pieces (text agenda, moderator script) needed to retire all Perl code related to IESG telechat agendas (3,500+ lines). - Try to get the "new tracker UI for drafts/RFCs" completed and deployed (replacing the old pages). (And I look forward to seeing some kind of of minutes from the call :-) Best regards, Pasi > -----Original Message----- > From: tools-development-bounces@ietf.org [mailto:tools-development- > bounces@ietf.org] On Behalf Of ext Ray Pelletier > Sent: 14 November, 2009 22:19 > To: tools-development@ietf.org > Subject: [TOOLS-DEVELOPMENT] Tools Call >=20 > All; >=20 > The next tools call is on 20 November at 12:00 PM EST, 9:00PM PST. >=20 > I will resend WebEx meeting details with correct time. >=20 > Ray >=20 > _______________________________________________ > TOOLS-DEVELOPMENT mailing list > TOOLS-DEVELOPMENT@ietf.org > https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/tools-development From housley@vigilsec.com Wed Nov 18 12:51:42 2009 Return-Path: X-Original-To: tools-development@core3.amsl.com Delivered-To: tools-development@core3.amsl.com Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by core3.amsl.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 33A653A6891 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 2009 12:51:42 -0800 (PST) X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at amsl.com X-Spam-Flag: NO X-Spam-Score: -100.804 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-100.804 tagged_above=-999 required=5 tests=[AWL=1.795, BAYES_00=-2.599, USER_IN_WHITELIST=-100] Received: from mail.ietf.org ([64.170.98.32]) by localhost (core3.amsl.com [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id FLfDEgDiCcRj for ; Wed, 18 Nov 2009 12:51:40 -0800 (PST) Received: from odin.smetech.net (mail.smetech.net [208.254.26.82]) by core3.amsl.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id E68D43A69C8 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 2009 12:51:39 -0800 (PST) Received: from localhost (unknown [208.254.26.81]) by odin.smetech.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 595D3F24022 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 2009 15:51:54 -0500 (EST) X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at smetech.net Received: from odin.smetech.net ([208.254.26.82]) by localhost (ronin.smetech.net [208.254.26.81]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id 7Adjq4etY-b9 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 2009 15:51:36 -0500 (EST) Received: from THINKPADR52.vigilsec.com (pool-173-66-67-45.washdc.fios.verizon.net [173.66.67.45]) (using TLSv1 with cipher DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by odin.smetech.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 841729A4724 for ; Wed, 18 Nov 2009 15:51:52 -0500 (EST) X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Version 7.1.0.9 Date: Wed, 18 Nov 2009 15:49:52 -0500 To: tools-development@ietf.org From: Russ Housley In-Reply-To: References: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed Message-Id: <20091118205152.841729A4724@odin.smetech.net> Subject: Re: [TOOLS-DEVELOPMENT] Stable URLs X-BeenThere: tools-development@ietf.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.9 Precedence: list List-Id: Tools Development list server List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 18 Nov 2009 20:51:42 -0000 >>> The list of current Internet-Drafts can be accessed at >>> http://www.ietf.org/ietf/1id-abstracts.txt. >> >>This URL is redirected to >>http://www.ietf.org/ietf-ftp/1id-abstracts.txt , which then >>produces a 404 error.
