IPng: External Review Panel Presented by David Clark/MIT Biography: David Clark is Senior Research Scientist at the MIT Laboratory for Computer Science. He has been involved in the Internet Community since 1976, and was Chair of the IAB from 1981 to 1989. He is involved in research on high-speed networks, support of real-time services, and networking for the information age. This presentation discussed the plan to indentify and invite a set of reviewers, both inside and outside the Internet community, to comment on the IPng criteria document and on the document describing the rationale for the conclusions of the study. The objectives of this review process are to broaden the set of people who are informed on our deliberations, and to involve more people, especially outsiders, in the processes of the Internet at this critical junction.
